The Protectors

The Protectors is a trilogy evolving over three consecutive Thursdays, showcasing Eady van Acker on 12 March, Anna Bierler on 19 March, and Twan Lugten on 26 March.
The exhibition accumulates week by week, forming a story in space, like an exquisite corpse. A poem printed on collectible shirts opens the trilogy —its words setting the atmosphere in which the works take shape. Return each Thursday for a drink and to see how the narrative develops.

Inspired by the film Angel’s Egg by Mamoru Oshii, the trilogy is shaped by three questions:

What is your egg?

How are you protecting it?

What happens to it?

Together, these questions extend beyond the exhibition, lingering on what it is to safeguard something life-giving in a time marked by destruction.
